2009 Maine P-47 Powercat - US$650 000

Moxie's combination of attractive "Down East" classic lines, high quality spacious accommodations, light-weight composite construction, superb ride quality and excellent cruising range of up to 2000nm, makes her the perfect vessel for just about any occasion. Whilst perfect for weekend getaways or the Great Loop, the P-47 was also designed with ocean crossings in mind, so why not head for the Bahamas, Caribbean and beyond...

Her fine displacement hulls and bridge deck clearance of almost 3', ensures an extremely comfortable ride in a seaway and a draft of 2'9" with protected propellers and rudders, make those shallow, hard-to-reach anchorages a reality.

The beauty of the P-47 platform is the abundance of space, excellent 360 degree visibility and 7' headroom, making her feel like a much larger vessel. Moxie features the standard two cabin layout, with the large owner's suite utilising the starboard hull. Both cabins have spacious en-suite heads, with electric toilets and separate shower stalls. The saloon settee can easily be converted to a king-size berth, for the occasional additional guests.

More adventurous owners will appreciate her ability to be self-sufficient for extended periods, with 680W of solar, LED lighting throughout, a large battery bank, 40gal/hr water maker, generator, air conditioning and more. Moxie also features a full compliment of electronics, fuel polishing system and oil change system for engines/gearboxes/generator.

Moxie is a lovely cruiser, which has to be seen to be truly appreciated. Her owner is motivated to sell, hence the attractive price of $650 000. Her replacement cost is in the region of $1.1mil.

She is currently in the Virgin Islands, however is due to be shipped back to Florida during May 2015.
