Cataway is owned by a lovely couple who bought their first cat from us, sold it, and then ordered this Belize 43 brand new in 2006. They then added on a fantastic 8.3 KW Northern Lights generator, 35,000 BTU of air conditioning, and a full compliment of Ray Marine electronics - autopilot, radar, chart plotter, etc, as well as Isotherm fridge and freezer, life raft, etc.
Cataway has spent the bulk of her life sailing in the Winters in the Carribean and the summers on the Chesapeake Bay. She is a very rare four cabin, two centrally located head model. So she can sleep 8 in her cabins, two in her forepeak if needed, but does not have that overcramped feeling of two sets of back to back heads in each hull. She is perfect for a couple or family to live on and voyage on, and has proven her blue water mettle sailing up and down the Eastern Seaboard reguarly. She has a modest 2,600 or so engine hours, and is really good to go almost anywhere very quickly.
