This 52 OCEAN CLASS (OC) features Catana's legendary speed and a hull shape that allows a quantum leap in interior volume and payload capacity for a cat in this size class. Imagine the performance of the Catana 47 with substantially more galley space, storage space in the cabins and lazarette volume to carry all of the water toys and cruising gear. The powerful sailplan includes a genoa and gennaker both on fixed PROFURL roller furlers to facilitate shorthanded maneuvering. Large galley, straight shaft powertrain, huge portholes, hard-top bimini, extra-wide cockpit are some of the signature items of the Catana 52.
This Catana 52 offers 4 large double staterooms each with ensuite head/shower and crew quarters in the bow sections. The aft cabin beds convert to two twins. The galley-up is layed out in a U shape with an additional shelf providing counter space for a full gourmet kitchen. A large sliding window allows outstanding access to the cockpit table and seating. The huge, airy saloon is to starboard and the forward facing nav station to port.
Loaded with equipment for voyaging: 7KVA ONAN generator, AQUABASE watermaker, full Air Conditioning, solar panels and large volume fridge and freezer.
