BRISE DHE MAR is an oustanding owner version Catana 50 with very little use. She was speced for a world voyage by an experienced owner with a full complement of bluewater options and equipment. The voyage was interrupted in Madeira for personal reasons and the boat returned to the French Med where she has been since. She is like new in every department and a turn key yacht.
The twin VOLVO 75 HP engines have 450 hours on them and the generator (4 KVA ONAN) and watermaker (DESSALATOR) fewer still. She is equipped with only premium equipment befitting a yacht of this caliber. Carbon rig and bowsprit with NAVTEC Kevlar shrouds and a self-tacking solent. Three electric winches to handle the main and the headsails comfortably. A rugged Hydranet sailing wardrobe including main, gennaker and solent and a symmetrical spinnaker. FURUNO NAVNET radar and chartplotter and FURUNO sailing instruments. Electronic engine controls at both helms, AIS, BOSE hi-fi, SSB, washing machine, dive compressor: nothing was left out.
Her interior boasts one of the most refined interiors I have seen on a Catana 50: high-gloss cherry wood finishes, alcantara liners throughout and corian coutertops at the galley and in the bathrooms. The owner even had a workshop built-in to the port hallway. A very fine yacht with smart bluewater appointments. A serious yacht that is ready to go.
